Summit Painting brings professionalism to Painting. Our vision is to transform the reputation that this industry has had in the past and to be a leading example for our competition on how to properly treat clients and and have a successful and rewarding experience on both sides of the table. Our commitment to this goal is demonstrated through each of the turn key systems we have implemented in our business. We install systems into the operations of the company that not only correct problems, but prevent them from ever occurring again. With over 25 years of combined experience at just the management level of our company, we are step by step building an efficient, customer focused and affordable home painting machine!

People

We recruit and interview A LOT of people to work in our company. We hand select individuals based upon their image, attitude and experience. Most do not make it through our interview process and those that do rarely get hired after one interview. Once we think we have found a fit, we will normally have a secondary interview. If the individual is hired, we then start them off with a reduced wage for 2 weeks. We call this our probationary period. During this time, we closely watch the performance of our new employee. We will have managers on-site, collect reviews from fellow employees and even homeowners. After the two week period, if the employee performed well, they will join the team full time at a standard wage. This process greatly reduces the chances of us hiring a "bad fit" for the company or worse, a "bad fit" for our clients. Finding and employing the right people for the job is what truly makes the difference. It ensures that we not only deliver a great product, but also a great experience.

Structure

When it comes to business, you have to stay lean if you want to be a mean competitor. This business was founded with a simple goal in mind. This goal is to build the capital worth of the business instead of focusing on the profits. In order to stick to this goal, our owner does not pull out any profits and Summit Painting reinvests 100% of its profits back into the business. So what does this mean for our clients? Our guys will always have the best equipment and all of the right tools for the job. Workers in the field will be paid a competitive wage and management positions will be highly sought after. Combining our hiring process with our company structure promotes a synergistic effect where the right people for the job, can complete the project with the right tools and get paid the right amount of money for their level of skill.

Safety

Summit Painting's reputation is built on safety.

Our three step program helps to ensure our employees safety and maintain it as one of our highest priorities.

Step 1 - Inspection

Frequent and regular inspections of the jobsites, materials and equipment are key to any successful safety program. Summit Painting assigns designated "Competent Persons" to perform these inspections randomly.

Step 2 - Training

It starts in the classroom and continues every day on the job site. Training videos, classroom sessions, weekly safety meetings and daily jobsite training is what keeps our guys safe. Summit's home painting system trains our employees to paint homes efficiently, effectively and safely.

Step 3 - Enforcement

When a job inspection reveals recognized hazards, prompt action is taken to not only correct the hazard, but to prevent it from occuring again.

Warranty

We are so confident of the quality of our work and the materials we use, that we warranty every project we complete! Although every project comes with a warranty, for those that want additional peace of mind or an unusually well done project we do carry some substantial upgrades. We offer extended warranties and maintenance packages that can extend for up to five years!
